As Consumer Lending Manager I am honored with the responsibility of leading the Consumer Lending line of business for First Savings Bank, which has been making local lending decisions for our community since 1937. I started as a lender and over the last 19+ years have developed management, analytical, problems-solving and communication skills needed to grow business, develop employees and provide quality products for customers.I believe in a team environment where positive and cooperative attitudes drive collaboration from application to closing. Although everyone has specific assigned roles, it is each person’s responsibility to get the loans to closing and provide stellar service to external & internal customers; we always keep the customer’s expectations in the forefront of everything we do.My role is to support and develop our team members so they can provide the highest quality of service to our customers. I focus on the overall goals and strategies of our Bank and our department’s role in the success of our organization. The challenge we face is to stay abreast of regulatory changes and successfully implement policies and procedures that result in loan volumes of quality, compliant loans. I am engaged in product creation and loan pricing that allows us to maintain a competitive edge in our market area, creates profitability for the bank and helps our customer achieve a higher quality of life. Other priorities include vendor management, marketing and lending training. I value conducting business with integrity, respect, honesty and believe in our role as a community leader.
