The Coalition is making a concerted effort to accomplish a permanent change on the great problems adversely impacting our youth. The "Coalition" is an amalgam of cercerned businesses, tireless citizens, and dedicated atencies who are willing to put resource sharing cooperation ahead of "market share" competition to protect our children against three local leading causes of morbidity and mortality. These include SIDS/unsafe sleep, drowning and childhood obesity.

Pilot International, a worldwide volunteer organization founded in 1921. The Pilot Club of Naples was chartered in 1959. Along with the Florida District Pilot Clubs, the Naples Club contributed to build, pay for and continue to maintain three scholarship houses located on the campuses in Tallahassee, Gainesville and Ft. Myers, were qualified students can live without charge. The Pilot Clubs pormote community awareness of brain diseases and prevention of traumatic brain injuries. Scholarships and support of Goals for Grants along with Project Lifesaver are important programs with the signature fund raising 5K Run/Brain Power Walk each September. Suzanne has been instrumental in spearheading this event for eight years and has been a member of the Pilot Club of Naples for 21 years.

The AFHAV is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving healthcare auxiliaries and volunteer groups in the state of Florida with professional and personal education, enrichmehnt and support to "serve those who serve" in their healthcare facilities.

The United Methodist Women is an organized unit of the North Naples United Methodist Church. It is a community of women whose purpose is to study and develop a creative, supportive fellowship and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Fund raising events include the Annual Christmas Bazaar in November, the Annual Christmas Tea in December and the Annual Community Rummage Sale in February.
