I joined the Health Business Group at Hill Dickinson in 2009, having previously trained and qualified at Berrymans Lace Mawer where I acted on behalf of the MPS and government departments.My specialism is litigation arising from clinical negligence. I act exclusively on behalf of NHS Resolution in relation to claims being advanced against their member trusts. My caseload consists of fatal accident claims, surgical errors, misdiagnosis, oncology, spinal injuries and obstetric birth injury cases with multi-million pound reserves. I have extensive experience of representing multiple defendants and I have successfully defended a number of claims to trial and discontinuance.I work closely with the patient safety teams at NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts, attending and hosting national events to promote learning from claims and triangulation of data, in order to improve patient safety.
