Now fully a part of the Global Tax Team with the majority of members sitting in HQ in Copenhagen. Over the last number of years, two more positions were created out of Dublin on this team reporting to me. We cover primarily Global Tax tasks, managing all things tax for the Group with a focus on transfer pricing with a presence in over 60 countries.

In this role I reported to the Corporate Affairs Director locally in Dublin and dealt with wide-ranging tax work, from Corporate tax compliance for both Irish and UK entities to Secondments and employee tax issues with an increased focus on Transfer Pricing. I worked as a trainee corporation tax advisor in PwC from October 2006 being promoted to tax consultant in July 2009. My role included the following:- Corporate Tax compliance for a variety of large clients.- Preparation of corporation computations.- Preparation and submission to the Revenue Commissioners of corporation tax returns.- Liaising with audit colleagues and examination of financial statements and records to compute corporation tax owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.- Provision of the current year tax charge, deferred tax asset/liability and tax reconciliation note in the financial statements (required under FRS16/19) to our audit colleagues.- Extensive interpretation of tax legislation.Client profile:Specialisation in corporation tax compliance and consultancy projects and working for clients ranging from semi-state bodies and subsidiaries of multinational companies to a variety of small and medium sized companies. Personal tax advice provided for high net worth clients.
