Achievements included :o Offshoring Projects – successfully transitioned 12 FTEs of accounting work from the Sydney, New York, London, and Toronto offices to the New Delhi back office with minimal impact to business operations.o New Delhi Ramp Up Project – after the successful transition of accounting work to the New Delhi office, managed the set up of a new and larger back office processing centre in Gurgaon, India. Received a Macquarie GFS reward to recognise excellence in managing this project.o Developed a performance management dashboard for transition KPIs which was implemented for all transitions across the group.

Set up a project management office and project management framework for the Colonial Fiji group, which included banking, insurance, and investment divisions. This included reorganising divisions to create the project management office, developing and conducting a training plan for the project office members, establishing a project management framework and managing a team of 20 project office members (project managers and business analysts).

Key responsibilities included :o Creating and training project teams across 5 Asia Pacific countries to document and test controls.o Collaborating with project management teams and country CFOs across 5 Asia Pacific countries to define project scope (material balance sheet and profit/loss statement items) and identify key processes for testing.o Reviewing significant controls, control gaps, testing results, and remediation plans identified during process review in each country. o Managing relationship with external accounting firm responsible for auditing the program.o Developing and managing a reporting structure to communicate project status, issues and remediation plans to central project team, global project stakeholders and global executive steering committee.

Net effect was a measurable decrease in Days Sales Outstanding for Education invoices.o Oracle Implementation – led Asia Pacific end user testing of Oracle 10.7 Order Entry and Accounts Receivable modules.
