Landcare NSW and the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) are working with regional Landcare networks to support private land conservation efforts across the state.A co-managed and community-guided program, the Private Land Conservation Matters Program aims to work collaboratively to build understanding and skills regarding biodiversity, educate private landholders on conservation efforts, and increase participation in private land conservation.The 18 month program will build on, and further, the successful work already undertaken by the NSW Landcare community and strengthen partnerships and understanding of the importance of biodiversity at a grass roots level.Key objectives of the project include:~Building understanding and capacity between the BCT and local Landcare groups to complement each other’s knowledge and skills and plan how to work together.~Building biodiversity conservation knowledge with landholders by delivering events that meet the BCT's priority objectives for the region in. This will be delivered through contracts with regional Landcare organisations~Increase the participation of landholders in private land conservation programs.~Strengthening the relationship between the BCT and LNSW

A three year Environmental Trust project coordinating the production of 50 online videos for learners, learning materials and their distribution and promotion

Developed, implemented and reviewed business plan to present hands on science shows to early childhood and primary aged children and their carers. Developed and reviewed presentations, marketed the programs, presented workshops to carers.Currently investigating an online incarnation.

Completed the project management of the 6-year, $250,000 Environmental Trust funded project- Threatened Species Last Stand on the Coal Point Peninsula.

From 2012 to 2018 I'm project managing the $250,000 six year project, Threatened Species Last Stand on the Coal Point peninsula project, an Environmental Trust project.2015-16 I'm implementing a project at King Edward Park- Landcare longevity and a lasting local legacy, a $20,000 25 year Australian Landcare grant. Developed and implemented TIN's Communication Strategy and provided goverance support to the Committee. Managed grant funded projects including the Lower Hunter Regional Community Seedbank, Enabling Eco-Actions through Knowledge Sharing, Go Green and Landcare For Youth.Produced the seasonal newsletter TINformation and developed the website and content.

My role is developing and refining the systems to support a team of talented people to grow local provenance plants and undertake bush regeneration across the the Lower Hunter region and beyond.Trees In Newcastle is a not for profit community organisation, established in 1989 and still growing strong.

Established systems and documentation to coordinate the efficient and timely delivery of support services to the Landcare community in line with developing systems at LMCC.Produced community education material, organised and coordinated community events and displays.

Project Manager for the $227,000 Natural Heritage Trust funded project whichengaged 327 community members, planted 51,000 plants, undertook 5ha of vegetation works, produced and distributed 16,500 brochures & 15,300 newsletters and facilitated the formation of 6 new landcare groups.
