Industry knowledge in mining/exploration, construction/civil, petroleum, sales and environmental services.Environmental skills & knowledge include, but not limited to: • Project management including proposal preparation, staff and contractor coordination, scheduling and liaison, client liaison, maintaining safe work procedures, financials, budgeting and reporting. Planning, scoping, management and review of technical studies conducted by sub-consultants for environmental approvals.• Environmental Approvals, Environmental Impact Assessment & Risk Assessment. Contribution to Mining proposals and PEPRs (Exploration & Mining). Environmental assessments of works for Defence sites.• Environmental Site Assessments and Investigations: ~ On-site field investigations – soil and groundwater sampling, chain of custody documentation, OH&S procedures, supervision of contractors includingdrillers. ~ Fieldwork and reporting requirements associated with the environmental assessment ofnumerous country and metropolitan, commercial, industrial and government sites in South Australia and NSW. Scope of works include: Site history searches, Groundwater Monitoring Events, Environmental Site Assessments, Site Supervision, Assessment and Classification of Waste Soils, Soil Stockpile and Soil Bore Validations. ~ Completion of technical reports for clients in commercial, industrial and government sectors including Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Site Investigations, Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP).• Site Supervision – Supervise and observe works in progress being conducted by contractors on sites for and on behalf of clients in government, commercial and industrial sectors. On-site supervision of geotechnical, environmental and civil works and contractors, includingconstruction/demolition, drilling and excavation operations. Environmental Monitor and Environmental Supervisor roles.• Occupational Health / Workplace Health and Safety: development and implementation of management systems, preparation and review of general, client specific and site specific safety plans and safe work method statements. Authorised for technical review, and Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) review of Site Specific HSSE Plans.• Development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems, qualification as Lead Auditor EMS.
