I am a resourceful, committed professional who takes the initiative to meet deadlines and resolve issues. My work as a Paralegal has provided me with the chance to use my analytical and practical skills in the drafting of both legal documentation, security documentation and correspondence. I also have strong land/real estate skills which range from on-line and paper filing of documents at the Supreme Court Registry and Land Title Offices to the financing and conveyancing of residential and commercial properties. As a Commercial Lending/Real Estate Paralegal, I had the opportunity to prepare and manage files from the Commitment/Facility letter stage, through the preparation and registration of security documentation in the Land Title Office and Personal Property Registry of B.C., to funding, reporting and providing legal opinions on loan transactions. These transactions were often highly complex, involving many types of corporate structure including partnerships, nominees and beneficial ownerships and many transactions occurred at the beginning or end of each month, requiring careful time management and the ability to work under pressure. My analytical and organizational skills are further enhanced by my communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
