I have been a teacher for 32 years. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. I am certified in Business Education 6-12 as well as Social Science 6-12. I am a certified Microsoft Office Master with certifications in Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. I also hold my Entrepreneurship certification. I am a people person. I have really enjoyed getting my students certified in Microsoft Office. High School courses I have taught include Pre-AP World History., Digital Information Technology, Administrative Office Technology I and II, Business Software Applications I & II, and Digital Design. This year I am teaching middle school business for the first time. I have 3 sections of 8th grade and 3 sections of 7th grade. The courses I am teaching this year include: Business Keyboarding, Computer Applications in Business I, Introduction to Business, Management and Administration, and Introduction to Business, Management and Administration/Career Plan. I am currently enrolled in DROP, so in three years I will be retiring from teaching and looking for a new career.
