Trusted counsel to Chief Product Officer and SVP | General Counsel, providing direction and resourceful implementation of HR procedures and processes for a digital rights management and security technology organization with 200+ employees across India, China, UK, Estonia, Latvia and France. Oversaw all aspects of domestic and international payroll administration, benefits administration, employment compliance, worker’s comp audit, 401(k) plan, (non-discrimination testing and independent audit), while maintaining all employee records, including I-9s.- Negotiated program offerings and pricing in partnership with insurance broker; presented recommendations to leadership before final Board recommendations for medical, dental, vision offerings for employees and families.- Reduced health care costs $135K by successfully transitioning insurance carriers; managed correct enrollment and the complex communication to ensure new carrier honored former carrier deductibles for all employees.- Drove process to lower initial EDD assessment penalty by approximately $55K as point of contact.
