Extensive energy policy experience at federal (Congress), regional, and state levels. In the past worked with regional greenhouse gas cap and trade initiative (RGGI) largely in the Northeast Region and then later with the State of Maine heading up the Office of Innovation at the Maine Dept. of Environmental Protection (Maine DEP). Currently working with national and state policy decision-makers involving energy-related outreach and advocacy to industry, communities, institutions, not-for-profits, and government.Goals are to expand progressive energy policy in the nation by promoting new technologies, legislation, policies and programs.Specialties: Advocating policies and programs and managing staff, creating innovative approaches, securing funding, communicating with all levels of government including federal agencies, state entities (business, non-governmental, and government), organizing conferences, speaking engagements, advocacy, and writing.
