• Responsible to man, train, and equip 12 Mission Package Detachments comprised of 350+ personnel on the Navy’s newest class ship. • Facilitated test and evaluation of the Mine Counter Measures (MCM) Mission Package, a top CNO priority, and provided feedback to supporting contractors. Results developed strategic and operational plans to commission the Littoral Combat Ship MCM Mission Package. • Established and implemented project plan for the first-ever embarkation of a mine explosive ordnance disposal team on a Littoral Combat Ship, identifying and solving multiple platform integration and training obstacles.

• Led 58-person team planning and executing ship’s operations, tactical planning and training events onboard $1.8 billion guided missile destroyer. Responsible for evaluating and disseminating operational information, advising Commanding Officer and crew on tactics and procedures. • Directed 300 personnel in the safe operation, navigation, emergency response, environmental compliance, and employment of all weapons systems in defense of the ship while deployed to the South China Sea. • Planned and executed 8 multi-national exercises with nations including Australia, South Korea, Japan and Russia implementing the U.S. 'Pivot to the Pacific' Strategy. During operations, consistently demonstrated ability to fuse large amounts of information and make split second decisions to properly employ assets and weapon systems during operations at sea and simulated wartime events.

• Developed and taught course of instruction in Leadership and Management to Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) class of 20+ students.

• Accountable for the safe navigation of 505-foot warship through harbors, coastal waters and open ocean transits. Led team of 6 in preparation of all voyage plans throughout arduous 6-month Persian Gulf deployment. • Presented all navigation plans and hazards to Commanding Officer (CO) and briefed plans to groups of 30+. • Managed 7 junior administrative personnel with oversight for support of 250 military personnel as ship's Administrative Officer. Oversaw the error free completion of 500 performance evaluations, 250 awards, and all ship's correspondence.

• Managed 20-member work center in the operation, maintenance and repair of seamanship equipment; supervised 360+ error free refueling and amphibious evolutions. • Qualified as ‘Officer of the Deck’ charged with representing the Commanding Officer in the safe navigation and operation of 1,200-foot warship ahead of peers. Displayed performance under pressure to effectively manage simultaneous flight deck and amphibious operations and ensure safety of 3,400 Sailors and Marines. • Executed training program and operational event planning for crew of 1,200 to ensure combat readiness in 15 warfare areas and 100% mission capacity.
