Ten+ years writing and leading copy and content development, overlapping with four years learning and practicing Human Centered Design, have given me the opportunity to write persuasive stories in just about every format imaginable. As a content leader at several digital health start-ups; and the Editorial Director at Athleta, I've been able to stretch my strategic thinking and leadership sensibilities in ways previously UNimaginable (to me, at least). My favorite challenges are the ones that require me to rethink my own understanding of my audience and the relationships they build with brands. I'm as passionate about breaking the ice with a great ad campaign as developing content and messaging strategies. Collaborating cross-functionally is my happy place. Finding unexpected ways to engage audiences, solve real problems, and delight users have been my goals throughout my career.
