Responsible for the strategic oversight and management of projects related to quality performance measurement/testing, patient safety, white paper development, and other quality improvement initiatives across the AUA’s Science & Quality Division. Coordinate the quality and regulatory/reimbursement strategic agendas, formulating AUA policy with respect to quality-related government regulations by analyzing potential impact and soliciting input from relevant AUA members and Committees.Serve as lead staff liaison to the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) Committee, working closely with diverse physician leaders on key initiatives. Educate, prepare, and actively support urologists to participate and thrive in a value-based payment system and develop quality improvement resources and tools for use by urologists reporting measures to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program.
