•Direct and motivate pharmacy staff in a high paced environment while providing quality patient care•Patient counseling including: medication use, safety concerns, drug administration, and preventative health strategies•Created interventions in patient care plans through telephonic MTM pharmacotherapy consultations by helping patients recognize barriers to adherence as well as providing economic solutions to poly-pharmacy concerns•Work with managed care plans to solve coverage and reimbursement challenges for patients in a timely fashion•Provide physician recommendations when appropriate to optimize patient care

-Ensure preparation, compounding, manufacture, and dispensing of investigational drugs and materials issued by Sponsors for ongoing research studies-Monitor required record-keeping, shipping, ordering, and inventory activities-Inspect records to meet sponsor requirements, FDA regulations and legal requirements for pharmacy operations-Foster relationships with other healthcare professionals and investigators in the development of investigator-initiated studies-Negotiate pharmacy budgets with Sponsors to ensure cost-efficiency of projects. -Motivate staff to ensure that performance standards are maintained and that work is accurate and in accordance with state, federal and organizational regulations.
