As a culture we're foundering in defensive chaos characterized by destructive us-vs-them behavior. As a result we miss out on the joy of authentic human connection.All humans have an innate, biologically-based need for safety and connection. Leading researchers such as Dr. Stephen Porges, originator of the Polyvagal Theory, and Dr. Robert Naviaux, leading researcher in mitochondria disease and behavior, continue to find that nervous system adaptations to chronic stress and trauma stonewall change. Supportive neurobiology, mostly overlooked in the corporate sector, is critical to affecting positive change in organizations, individuals, systems and cells. This means addressing and repairing how we reflexively respond to ever-changing situations. But without an understanding or ability to address underlying psycho-neurological patterns - what drives our behavior - we remain inflexible, stuck as a matter of biology, despite our greatest conscious efforts.MindfulSuccess is a Polyvagal Informed consultancy, providing the necessary support and education for organizations and individuals to repair and restore inter-system and inter-personal collaboration for greater creativity, problem solving, and increased revenue, while lowering organization-wide dysfunction, employee turnover and health care costs.
