I presently wear a few hats at Google:INTERNAL COMPUTING ALLOCATION:I am responsible for re-building and operating the allocation mechanisms for compute resources within the Google ecosystem (supporting the management of the computing costs incurred by each of Google's products); this function plays a significant role in the engineering of 1) the P&L around revenue-generating initiatives at Google and 2) the financial allocation of resources to support internal shared services (non-revenue generating initiatives). This organization supports all software engineering teams at Google and works within the greater supply chain operations team to drive real-time, cloud computing delivery.USER EXPERIENCE DEVELOPMENT/RE-DESIGN:Guiding tiger team across Shared Services, Global Capacity Delivery, Internal Compute Order Management/Provisioning Products, and all of Google's Focus Areas to optimize the timely delivery of efficient and immensely scalable computing infrastructure to each effort at Google. GLOBAL OPEX GOVERNANCE:I also direct Commercial Operations, Global Infrastructure where I Lead $B+ in commercial contracting, expense management, auditing, and vendor management for production infrastructure at Google (all data centers, networking, power + other global utilities). Currently driving large-scale initiatives for global electronic invoicing, audit automation, working capital optimization, and contract management.

Governed large-scale, strategic decisions related Google's production infrastructure expansion; charged with optimizing data center, manufacturing, supply chain, platform engineering (hardware/software), and green power operations; also led strategic activities related to the selection, negotiation and financing of networking assets, utilities, and real estate globally. Designed and implemented an enterprise-wide solution to retire underutilized technology assets and generate $MM in remarketing/recycling revenues. Co-developed internal chargeback model for computing assets and launched internal market related to capacity management across Google's product base. Awarded Operating Committee (OC) Award for significant contributions to increased resource utilization across computing base.

Led sales, marketing, finance, IT, legal, and delivery management divisions toward new business models based on outsourcing the Kenan solution set. Built sales pipeline to over $300M in new opportunities in less than 12 months. With a $1.5M technology investment, designed and delivered comprehensive in-house, high-availability SAAS (software-as a-service) solution scaled to support 5M turnkey customers. Challenged to exploit existing assets, revolutionize business models, generate sustainable new business, increase shareholder value.

Directed IT Operations for telecom providers worldwide, including Infrastructure, application, business solution engagement, CTO, vendor management and Budget/Finance Operations. Collaborate with Senior Vice-Presidents for 3 international regions and partners from large-scale firms, including IBM, Accenture and Tata Consulting (TCS). Ran Bharti-Telventure’s Airtel IT organization in India; redesigned/unified enterprise IT operations for 26 separate operating companies. Discovered over 2% of ABR in leaking revenue, implemented 30+ large-scale projects, automated collections and reduced headcount. Helped client more than double transaction volumes with no operating budget increases.Launched series of new services, including client sales/marketing team workshops, reporting architecture solution implementations, revenue leakage and cash flow analysis and architecture/performance optimization.

Kenan/Lucent Transition (same company) -- Challenged to design and implement packaged/custom software solutions supporting high transaction-based environments exceeding 1B records/month (30M+/day). Guided multiple, parallel implementations of enterprise solutions, including tier-1 infrastructure, database, solution integrations and packaged/custom application deployments. Managed legacy customer migrations and highly-integrated solution upgrades. Oversaw business development, pricing, scope and new contract negotiations and managed relationships with client company officers and senior directors. Directed hiring, staff development and program budgeting, leading teams ranging from 3 to 100+ staff-members.Negotiate contracts ranging from $1M to $150M.

Directed network and IT infrastructure for Defined Benefits Call Center with 300 customer care representatives. Developed in-house software solutions to optimize operations and managed IVR, Network and PBX infrastructure, databases and applications for clients including Merrill Lynch, Federated Department Stores, Computervision (Prime), Sodexho and Northeast Utilities.

Start-up company with 3 initial employees. Now 100 employees.Produced monthly B2B journal; wrote consumer peripheral reviews, led analyst meetings, consolidated consumer reports and developed market research database development for subscription resale to business customers. Assisted with organization design, strategy, hiring, business growth.Instrumental in ensuring Start-up succeeded and gained critical mass in 1st year of operation.
