I lead a high performing team to raise $24 million annually, by inspiring and activating more than 100,000 youth in a community movement to conquer childhood cancer. I serve as visionary, strategist, public spokesperson, fundraiser, and change agent. I coach those executing our Top 30 Peer-to-Peer fundraising program, and set the strategy to drive the year-over-year growth of a second signature fundraising program. As the executive leader, I work closely with hospital leadership to amplify the vision and priorities of a nationally-recognized pediatric oncology research program, participate in the annual grant process to direct funds to strategically advance the mission, and manage an Advisory Board of C-suite level community leaders and donors.

I led the public broadcasting organization's $2.4 million annual fund (direct mail, telemarketing, & on-air campaigns), corporate sponsorships, marketing, tour program, gift processing, volunteer program, database management, and special event production. Within my first year of managing the annual fund, the team reached its fundraising goal for the first time in a decade.

I contributed to the organization’s success as a leader in the following areas: direct mail fundraising, telemarketing, on-air campaigns, donor stewardship, database management, major donor cultivation and recognition events, large-scale fundraising events, and capital campaign activities.

I established the communications office for the freshman Congressman, complete with a multi-year strategic communications plan. Wrote and launched the Congressman's website and constituent newsletters. Managed all earned media and incoming media requests on issues of national and international impact.

I led the strategic re-branding of the Food Bank, launched the organization's first website, and grew earned media placements by 250%. Created innovative cause marketing partnerships with corporate and media partners to further the Food Bank's mission.

I provided a variety of communications services to healthcare and non-profit clients.

As the senior officer for statewide communications, I was responsible for directing the messaging and supervising the media relations efforts of five satellite offices. Managed a statewide multi-media health awareness campaign, and created PR campaigns to support grassroots legislative initiatives.
