I am known for leading organizations to success by creating innovative, relevant, and sustainable programs through experienced financial management, fundraising and committed volunteer involvement.► MY LEADERSHIP ROLE:As the CFO / Director Support Services, I am responsible for all support functions at the Grand Canyon Council where we serve 47,000 youth and 22,000 volunteers in the state of Arizona. My leadership and operations responsibilities includes overseeing 5 camps, 5 service centers, 26 full time employees, 350 seasonal employees, risk management, youth protection, legal issues and a $8 multimillion dollar annual operations budget.► I BELEIVE IN SUSTAINABLE STEWARDSHIP:I believe I can help the world be a better place with my extensive knowledge of non-profit organizations and my ability to lead them to successful financial sustainability. ► FINANCIAL SURPRLUS CREATED TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMSThrough my financial leadership, created processes that ensured consistent year end surpluses that were leveraged for innovative programs.► MY COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP APPROACH:I am recognized for my collaborative leadership approach, ability to bring together all types of people and my financial leadership, which allows me to positively affect the organization's bottom line.► MY PHILOSOPHY IS ABOUT INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY: My philosophy of creating sustainable processes for the good of our communities, has served my organizations well. Most recently, at Boy Scouts, I led to team that created the innovative, environmentally sustainable shower houses, which are now being used across the State. As the Director of Finance for St. Mary's Food Bank, I co-created the system for how all donated food is valued and these processes have been adopted for food banks across the country.
