About Suzanne Ingman
As an accredited mediator, I am passionate about the value that mediation can bring to parties in conflict enabling a facilitated conversation with the aim of reaching an agreeable solution.Some conflict is healthy enabling an organisation to grow but when it becomes unhealthy, it has an adverse effect, destroying relationships, engendering mis trust, creating a loss of confidence (and self-esteem), fear which in turn impacts the organisation’s productivity. Through mediation, relationships can be restored, overall well-being and engagement improved and so increasing productivity.Since qualifying as a mediator in 2009, I have mediated over 150 cases, some complex and involving mental ill health. Bringing my mediation and conflict management leadership skills to assist the parties reach an amicable way forward. Working with the parties to overcome their conflict is greatly rewarding as unnecessary ongoing energy sapping friction is avoided.Designed and delivered mediation awareness workshops, I have also assessed on the National Certificate of Workplace Mediation programme and authored several mediation articles.Successfully run own HR Consultancy company, for over 25 years, working at Board level and with senior management teams, across a broad range of clients, nationally and internationally in the private, public and third sector engaged in transformation initiatives.Over 15 years’ experience as a community mediator and member of the national CMC Community mediation working programme.
