Lead day to day cataloging operations for Boeing technical documents used in the maintenance and manufacture of Boeing products. Part of the team responsible for launching and managing Boeing Top Shots, an online image collection of Boeing's best on-brand images to serve Boeing creative artists and Communication focals. My responsibilities focus on collection development, verification of rights and approvals, reporting, as well as creating and managing the controlled vocabulary that drives the user search experience. In 2016 I led the on-site team that successfully moved nearly 80,000 items in the Boeing Creative Services' Puget Sound film and video library to a new smaller location. I evaluated and culled the collection of non-business value items, oversaw the distribution of older materials to Boeing’s historic archives, supervised the team that inventoried and cataloged the remaining items, oversaw the transfer of 20,000 items to permanent offsite storage, and coordinated the move of the remaining items to the new facility.Previously I served as a member of the Digital Content Management Group tasked with working with IT Infrastructure and Enterprise Content Management to launch an Enterprise Digital Asset Management system at Boeing. My group wrote the business rules to outline governance, worked on controlled vocabulary development, and performed extensive functional testing for the new application from the development environment through to production. We also provide training and advise individual users and business groups on best practices in DAM.

Manage and maintain Image Management group's MediaBin digital asset management system. Worked with IPM's team to acquire images from multiple company image repositories to grow the digital image collection to over 19,000 images in five years and service hundreds of special licensing requests for external customers. Metatag / keyword images, analyze images to identify subject content and perform research to maintain catalog records, ensure data accuracy, and improve database search and retrieval. Write titles and captions for image assets. Scan, retouch, and resize digital images for upload to image-licensing website, boeingimages.com, and manage website and its search engine interface and thesaurus. Contributed to the development of a digital asset management system (DAMS) workflow and work processes at IPM, and prepared over 6500 images and their Excel tracking data for successful migration into the DAMS. Interfaced with contractual software developers, and worked with Library Services to develop taxonomy and schema for metatagging images. Managed user permissions and access to MediaBin. Trained and advised DAMS users on system software. Wrote IPM's business case for enterprise-wide DAMS.
