I am a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for circular economy and sustainable innovations, bridging the gap between sustainability & business, with specialist skills as a creative generalist. This leads to me seeing and understanding holistic perspectives and finding new business opportunities. This enables the design & development of circularity and strategies, as I know the entire product life cycle.My width is my strength (sustainability, Interaction & Digi/Physical Product Design), which means I take on varied design projects. My background in industrial design with experience in consumer & producer products, is now supplemented with design for sustainability and Interaction design. This means that I design digi- & physical products or services, preferably when it merges.In my work I always include sustainability; the TPL perspective (economy, ecology & social), Agenda 2030, and the principles of circular economy (circulate products & materials, eliminate waste & pollution, , and renew nature). The starting point in my work is the user and his needs. I also include interaction & UX research, including customer (CX) & market needs, idea generation, construction & production concepts, logistics, and sales. The work is best done in consensus in agile cross-functional teams with co-design. Thanks to this holistic view, I identify new sustainable business potentials.My goal is to always find win-win solutions for users, customers, the company, and the environment. I worked with the design & development of beds where my main task was to develop textiles for bed collections and accessories.Under my management, the bed has gone from being an anonymous mattress, hidden in a bed frame, to being an independent stylish piece of furniture with accessories such as designer headboards and legs.I have ensured that the textiles are on trend in color, feel, and texture to maximize sales. That it has the right price points, is production assured, and has the quality and environmental labelings such as Öko-tex and the Swan.Development of furniture-look fabrics, i.e., it looks like furniture fabrics but is adapted for bed production. Optimized in price, quality, and width, which greatly reduced fabric waste. This optimization generated savings of approx. 2 million/year/range.Introduced the first Eco-marking on textiles OEKO-Tex and the Nordic Swan label and also pushed demands to implement CSR. I am the designer behind the development of the Hilding Anders Bed Bug Protector and the Daggkåpa mattress protector, for more info see the project.
