Full-time mom - my most important job and the one of which I am most proud. Assisted in development of the EXPRESS relational database system. Computational optimization (IBM 360 assembly language!), graph/plotting capability (a memorable victory: heuristic figuring of reasonable vertical-axis increments, given a pile of data), customer support, user reference manuals. The huge EXPRESS reference manual I wrote became the genesis of my passion for explaining complicated things to users hungry for understanding.
