After volunteering and being all around "band mom" I started working with USBands. I assist in many areas including keeping the competition on time by moving bands on and off the field of competition, coordinating hospitality for adjudicators and other staff members at large regional shows and whatever else is necessary to make sure that the KIDS have the best experience ever while competing on the field. At larger regional and national shows I provide hospitality services to judging staff and School band directors and staff. This consists of managing volunteers, provisioning food and snacks for judging staff, assisting event management in whatever is needed to keep the event running smoothly.
Commentary and information on current issues in politics and news from a conservative and Judeo/Christian perspective.I've taken a break and may be back!
Conservative writing on today's political and moral issues. Not for the faint of heart.
I originally coordinated teams of volunteers (approximately 40 in total) to facilitate the liturgy program for 4-12 year old children at two masses each week. The position now has become a position where I coordinate 3 or 4 helpers and do the facilitation of the program myself. I take about 25 children at each Mass to their own space, read First Reading and the Gospel to the children, prepare and deliver a homily (sermon) and then lead the children in prayer until it is time to take them back to the sanctuary for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
I provide the Bulletin with well researched articles on up to date issues affecting the legal community and world at large.
