Suzanne plays a lead role in the Burges Salmon dispute resolution team, working with her colleagues to help clients arrive at the right solution to their issue, minimising impact and maximising success.Suzanne specialises in financial services and pensions disputes; regulatory investigations; professional negligence and related judicial review claims. Suzanne acts for employers, trustees and representative members of occupational pension schemes, often in rectification and construction claims and often runs parallel professional negligence proceedings. Suzanne also advises FCA regulated financial services firms offering SIPPs and SSASs in relation to pensions and investment issues. Suzanne is a regular speaker at the Burges Salmon Pensions team's online webinars and she also presents at external seminars and conferences and enjoys delivering training to Pension Scheme Trustees. Suzanne is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and the Pensions Management Institute. Suzanne is recognised as an expert in pensions litigation in both the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories.Outside financial services and pensions, Suzanne also has considerable experience acting for service providers in discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010.Suzanne is also a keen sustainability champion and is Chair of Burges Salmon's Environment Committee, being responsible for managing the impact of the firm's operations on the environment, and has recently announced the firm's journey to a Net Zero target date of 2026.
