We offe space, time and guidance from a wide network of colleagues within the extended (national) arts field. Public programmes offer 'Almeerders' insight in contemporary developments in art.

Public Art Amsterdam is a collaborative of 11 leading Amsterdam art institutions working on art and public space. In collaboration with Frans Hals Museum and Museum M I developed the transhistorical museum, and an international research symposium on transhistoricity in curatorial practices, in museum collection presentations as well as in temporary exhibition settings. Frans Hals was subsequently reframed as a 'transhistorical museum'
