I am an artist, librarian/archivist, and preservation specialist with a propensity for discovering common ground, working toward a collective goal, and communicating with empathy, authenticity, and a sense of humor. I am currently an Accessioning Archivist and Preservation Specialist at UNC Greensboro.I received my MLIS from UNC Greensboro, with a concentration in Special Collections and Archives Studies, in December 2021. I also hold an MFA in Book Arts, BFA in Art Education, and BSW in Social Work. Throughout my career in conservation, teaching, and social work, I have been involved in community outreach and a variety of institutional service opportunities. I have extensive experience teaching in various settings and for diverse groups of learners. I have taught workshops and classes in letterpress printing, printing history, bookbinding, zine making, and papermaking. Making meaningful connections such as these with students, community members, and colleagues inspires my own teaching, learning, and creative work.
