Manages the installation of security systems for new construction and buildings undergoing renovation. Ensures assigned projects meet scope, finish on time and within budget. Provides estimates for additional project work as required. Communicates project progress and issues with stakeholders to include but not limited to owners, building management, contractors, subcontractors, employees, laborers etc. Conducts job cost analysis at the completion of each project to determine how the projects finished. Uses the data to better improve the sales, installation and project management processes.

Previously held the position of Quality Assurance Project Manager. Responsibilities included reviewing and resolving discrepancies of incoming closeout project packages that are returned from the Tyco regional offices for our Government Clients. Assisted in producing the as-installed SOW, Bill of Materials, labor estimates and as-built drawings per site for project closing. Prepared change orders to account for additional or deleted equipment, labor hours and subcontractors. Obtained signatures on final closeout paperwork and forwarded the completed packages to finance for invoicing.

Responsible for the overall management of a $5 million Tyco/Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) contract that included budgeting, staff and contractor management and provided a single point of contact for all invoices issued to the SAA. Assisted the SAA in developing office and security equipment design standards for the national Senate state offices.

Oversaw the installation of security systems for all US State Senate Offices in the 50 states. Created and distributed security installation packages to the regional offices. The package included detailed lists and instructions regarding the equipment and location/s of where the systems are to be installed. Scheduled and coordinated the security installation technicians and external contractors work with the Senate Office Staff. Was responsible for ordering equipment and tracking its arrival to the regional offices. Provided project updates to the Senate Sergeant at Arms during weekly project meetings. Prepared and submited alarm permit registration applications to the proper law enforcement jurisdiction, trouble shooting malfunctions with the Senate Staff and dispatched service if trouble shooting didn’t solve the problem. Assisted in producing finalized as installed SOW, equipment lists, pricing proposals and as built drawings per site which are forwarded to the accounting division for project close out and billing.

Managed a staff of thirteen Project Managers responsible for the quality of the service provided by Kastle Systems for over $15 million annual of business across approximately 350 active projects at any given time with a departmental operating budget of $500 thousand dollars.

Coordinated nationwide execution of new building projects and the building activation process for contracts up to $5 million in value. Created project schedules to define and track the deliverable product, and communicated status, issues and time line risks associated with the project to all stakeholders.
