I was RIM's first Executive Assistant. My duties included working for both the founders of RIM as well as the CEO, many SVP's, several VP's all within the R&D side of the business. Aside from working feverishly those first few years as a very busy admin; I was responsible for assisting with the IPO as well as the first Annual General Meeting with stakeholders and Executives. As employee #78 I watched this little high tech company grow from a small energized pool of engineers to the world renowned company it is today. It was the best of times and it was the craziest of times. But I wouldn't change it for a thing.

Changing paces from Executive Assistant to the Coordinator of the Global Repair Services was interesting and very rewarding. To get to know the *other* side of RIM was eye opening and I got to learn so much about the repair side of the business. I was also fortunate to work with some amazing colleagues who made every day wonderful. I definitely enjoyed my time in this area.
