Vanuit het CPO Groene Mient is de energiecoöperatie Sterk op Stroom opgericht. Deze coöperatie zet de visie en ambitie van Groene Mient door en streeft ernaar zoveel mogelijk lokaal elektriciteit op te wekken en uit te wisselen. Dit gebeurt zowel in het Living Lab Groene Mient door near-real time data te verzamelen, maar ook door in de Vruchtenbuurt kwartier data op te halen. Bij de opleiding Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling/Climate & Management in het domein Built Environment ben ik coach, docent en onderwijscoördinator op het gebied van duurzaamheid in de gebouwde omgeving en ben lid van de toets- en curriculumcommissie. Daarnaast houd ik me bezig met het implementeren van Circulaire Economy/systeemdenken in het curriculum van de opleidingen en verken ik de mogelijkheden van een lectoraat/onderzoeksplatform Circulaire Economie.

In een Collectief Particulier Opdrachtgeverschap heb ik samen met mijn buren het project Groene Mient ontwikkeld: een sociaal en ecologische projectontwikkeling. The aim of the research was to create a tool for architects/designers that is open and intuitive and… Show more At the faculty of architecture, the Green Building Innovation (GBI) aims to be an excellent research group in the area of sustainable technology for the built environment, and to build a worldwide reputation for its science-based green innovation at various scale levels.I explored the possibilities of closing the cycles on materials, energy and water in the building and its surroundings. The aim of the research was to create a tool for architects/designers that is open and intuitive and functions as an assistant in sustainable/high performance green design. I used the Cradle to Cradle theory as inspiration since this systems theory shows an interesting viewpoint in closing the loops and has been widely accepted by the Dutch building society.Next to the research I teached students on sustainable design.
