Obtaining all necessary information from claimants to determine eligibility requirements; filing all claims electronically via SSA's website.Responsible for building a strong case as the core of the entire claims process.Sending out, receiving and entering all legal forms required for Social Security benefits and attorney representation, including scanning documents in Prevail Software System.Intake for cases begins at the initial stage. An effective intake involves allowing people to communicate freely about issues and posing relevant questions. This information is documented on legal applications that are sent to the SSA and copies are placed in a new case file along with any additional information obtained and all signed legal agreements. The case file is then given to a case manager to monitor and follow through with by obtaining and supplying all additional information needed until the case is complete.
