As a freelance designer I had the opportunity to work with many different clients and varied products. I adored being the main print designer for the Mantaray brand for many years, specifically prints for the womens swim and holiday shop ranges, it was really my baby and will always hold a special place in my affection. I also enjoyed working on the Julien Macdonald, Betty Jackson, Jasper Conran, Caprice, John Rocha, Janet Reger, Melissa Oderbash, Maine, Gorgeous, Bailey & Quinn and Iris & Edie ranges for beachwear/accessories/footwear/sleepwear/lingerie.

I had an amazing time living in Sydney and working at T J Design on an iconic finger wharf in Darling Harbour with a view of Sydney Harbour Bridge. While there I designed prints for ladieswear, girlswear, boyswear, surf/swimwear and sleepwear for the Australian and New Zealand markets. I also undertook a wide variety of commission work for brands and companies such as Sportsgirl, Bendon, Esprit, Trilogy Kids, Bluesport, Physico, Depict, Howard Chia, Pumkin Patch, Loveable, Dolina, Big W and Best and Less.

As print designer across Girlswear, Sleepwear and Ladieswear, I provided graphic solutions for M&S ranges, including placements, allovers, embellishments and woven checks. I worked with print houses, selecting and recolouring prints from their ranges.I liaised with UK and offshore printers, problem solving from early strike offs to bulk fabric production.I bought and commissioned artworks from outside studios and artists.I researched and presented key print trends for each season.I traveled to trade fairs and attended trend presentationsI worked on licensed merchandise with Disney, Warner Brothers and Watermelon, including Harry Potter, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey/Minnie Mouse, The Powder Puff Girls, Penelope Pitstop, Finding Nemo and Toby Pimlico.

I worked freelance directly and through suppliers on projects for Top Shop, Liberty, Disney, Great Little trading Company, Oasis, Next, Woolworths, Tesco, Evans and Principles on commissioned prints, placements, repeats and colourways.

Designing prints for swim, women's, men's, kids, sport and activewear for US, UK, European, Japanese and Australian markets. Studio administration including organization of travel and trade fairs. Distribution, coordination, showing and selling of collection.Research and collection of trends, inspiration and reference. Setting of briefs to freelance designers.
