The summer of my senior year in college, I left on a whim & headed west toward Vail. Hundreds of miles & 2 speeding tickets into my journey, I drove over Vail Pass & into view came a sight I will never forget: waterfalls, lush green mountainsides, snow-capped mountains & the rush of Gore Creek. I was awestruck. I didn't know what to expect, but I surely didn't expect anything so spectacular. At that moment, I knew I'd live in Vail for the rest of my life.In the years since that first drive into Vail, I have met many with similar stories.
