While living in Thailand, I developed a thriving IT services consultancy firm from the ground up, working with a wide range of clients in UK and SE Asia. - Managed major systems rollouts, include ERP roll-out for Kolectric Research Asia Ltd, a key factor in the successful start-up of UK business in Malaysia.- Authored complex contracts and SLAs and provided application support for London Mini Bus Company.

Kent

After the success of building some outstanding customer services teams, I progressed to lead service delivery for four major BT services IT outsourcing accounts, culminating in a lead role on the bid and account start-up of outsourced technical services for Kent County Council. - Managed BT’s first PFI deal, the £34M setup and maintenance of all live IT services delivered to Kent County Council. - Developed efficient processes and systems for hardware, software, bespoke applications and maintenance services from the ground up. - Hired and managed high performing team of 30, including frontline support, customer services managers, risk manager, network support and technical application support.- Secured high quality vendors suppliers for range of bespoke solutions; wrote influential business cases. - Constricted service penalties to only one occasion in seven years; achieved high standards of delivery.- Introduced best practice project management and ITIL service delivery frameworks after completing ITIL certification. - Instrumental to robust bespoke Quality Management System (QMS); completed ISO 9000 Internal Auditing qualifications. - Implemented network management system; sourced and configured solution that became the largest monitoring system in BT. Automated alarms that clarified real-time network performance.- Developed stringent cost control on budget management of £34M; saved cost and trained behavioural change into local teams. - Secured buy-in across IT leadership and Board-level council leadership, achieving critical sign-off for technical investments.- Instrumental to similar bid wins of up to £50M value; contributed on bid teams at Edinburgh and Essex.

I first joined BT in a customer services role and was soon promoted through team leadership and project management positions, culminating in high profile service delivery roles with major clients, including:BT Service Delivery Manager, Dec 1997 – May 1998; provided robust service delivery for key client, The World Insurance Network. - Introduced innovative risk management system, still in use today. - Built high performing teams of up to ten; coordinated project teams of up to 30. - Influenced at senior level to roll out new solutions, working with major insurance players.BT CS&I Project Manager, Sep 1994 – Dec 1997; coordinated BT chargecard account run by Syntegra for Corporate BT, project managing three teams on the UK’s largest tandem computer.- Managed series of telecoms project rollouts on time and to budget. - Integral to systems upgrade; organised project teams, allocated resources and ensured sufficient technical expertise.
