She was mainly involved in the physical hydraulic model study of the headworks of the following projects:• Super Dordi Hydropower Project Kha (54 MW)• Langtang Khola Hydroelectric Project (20MW)• Ghunsa Khola Hydroelectric Project (77.5MW)• Middle Mewa Hydropower Project (49MW)• Nilgiri Khola 1 Hydro power Project (38MW)Her key job responsibilities and duties include the following:• Planning and construction of physical hydraulic models of headworks and settling basin of different hydropower projects.• Carrying out model study activities like cross section layouts, hydraulic measurements,topography construction, structure fabrication etc.• Study of hydraulics and sedimentation at headworks structure and modification of headworks as per need.• Data processing, data collection (water level measurement, velocity measurement, bed level measurement), analysis and reporting.• Use of photogrammetric technique, Structure from Motion, to capture 3D image of model by overlapping 2D images to create Digital Elevation Model.• Video editing to keep proper record of analysis of sedimentation and approach flow patterns near intakes, analysis of flow hydraulics in the headworks at headworks and settling basin.
