Working in the Retail sector of Bench Americana I manage the categories - Ladieswear, Accessories and Girlswear across the multi channels - E commerce, Bench Stand Alone Stores (Full Price) and Outlet fascias - accounting for 26 stores. Key Responsibilities: - Plan seasonal strategy together with the Buyer for both the Bench stand alone stores and the Outlet Business. - Plan strong commercial product ranges, analyse key attributes from past sales figures, optimising future sales, volume and profitability. - Present sales forecasts and figures for new ranges to the Head of the Department for range sign off. - Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to help decide how product should be displayed to maximise customer interest and sales. - Plan seasonal pricing and promotional activity in line with departmental promotional calender - attaining both profit and margin. - Trade in season to maximise stock and profitability, whilst maintaining stock control. React and soluction find to any variances in sales v plan. - Review option plans at grade and department level ensuring strategic and space requirement are met. - Manage allocation and replenishment of stock to stores, ensuring optimum stock availability maintained at all times. - Maintain close working relationships with the field team, shipping and suppliers to ensure overall efficient movement of stock through the supply chain to market. - Manage, train, develop and supervise the Allocator.

Manufacturer and Importer to the fashion market, main clients included Matalan, JD Williams and New Look. - Tracked incoming orders from factories via a critical path. - Close communication with clients for approvals and specification of orders. - Regular communication with suppliers, to ensure deliveries met within the agreed time scales. - Invoices monitored and checked for correct costings. - Import and Export paperwork checked and completed via Customs & Excise - issues dealt with in a prompt and timely manor.
