I develop, facilitate, and administer regional emergency management training for physicians and staff within The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) in Northern California. I serve as a Training & Simulation Consultant for multiple KP NCAL initiatives, managing the full cycle of training programs from planning and execution to follow-up surveys. Notably, I:❖ Developed and facilitated the Regional Emergency Management CME Series for physicians. Created sessions that involved gaining executive leadership endorsement and approval, curating speakers, creating and refining content, coordinating sessions, and mentoring speakers. Analyzed CME survey results.→ Delivered education to 500 physicians to date, with survey results illustrating 76.7% intent to change and 65% confident to very confident in their ability to enact recommended change.❖Create and administer Virtual Reality for Mass Casualty Triage Training Pilot. Adapt module for KP NCAL use, deliver pilot training to select KP NCAL Emergency Departments (ED), analyze results, refine, and implement broadly across KP NCAL Emergency Departments.❖Formed and executed the COVID Physician Update CME Series 2022. Created and facilitated Teams Live Events sessions. Analyzed CME survey results and completed year-end Series Outcome Summary.→ Delivered ongoing education to 6,033 KP NCAL physicians (12 sessions) on rapidly-changing COVID clinical guidelines and operational protocols, with 61% of CME respondents indicating an intent to change, and 24% already practicing recommendations.❖Created and delivered the KP NCAL Active Shooter training session. Designed the session, gained required approvals; brought together diverse multidisciplinary stakeholders and SMEs from across the KP enterprise; curated and mentored speakers; and handled other session activities. → Held 2 sessions with a total of 6,543 attendees across the KP NCAL region.
