CurrentDesign and commissioning of beamlines at Synchrotron radiation facilities, including feasibility study, beamline design and RAY tracing, budget and time planning, coordination with externalstakeholders.Experiment Control Software: I promote a unified experiment control software at BESSYIIusing Bluesky, a collection of python libraries. Simulations I am the main developer of two python packages. RayPyNG provides a simple python API to work with RAY-UI, a software for the optical simulation of synchrotron beamlines and x-ray systems developed by Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin. This enables faster computation times but also ensures that the simulations can be stored and reproduced by other colleagues, making the knowledge transfer particularly easy. RayPyNG-Bluesky is an interface library that allows using the Bluesky data acquisition framework to run RAY-UI simulations. Research: I developed and patented a new pulse-picking method, able to pick X-ray pulsesseparated by only 1 ns
