Developed and executed the media relations plan for a client's wearable launch, including a smartwatch powered by Android Wear. Secured an exclusive with WIRED as well as hundreds of additional stories and blog posts. Coverage exceeded 300 million online and print impressions.

Greater St. Louis Area

Oversees all public relations, media relations, social media, and community relations activities for 19 hospitals and dozens of clinics across SSM’s four state region. Grew media placements by more than 200% in two states and more than 50% system wide in first year. Increased social media reach by 236% in the same time period.

My duties are to solicit positive media attention for three sister hospitals and four affiliates as well as two care centers, adult day care center and child care center. In times of crisis I also act as hospital spokesperson.

After covering a school shooting and seeing the instant communication gap that existed between school districts and the parents they wish to reach, I founded EZSchoolAlert. While there are others in the industry, our goal is to be the most affordable and simplest solution so that everyone, not just the richest schools, can have the latest in technology.
