The Jaczone product, WayPointer, can be characterized as a system of intelligent agents that supports a software developer in her/his work. The product has two parts, an application part consisting of formal rules about software development, and a platform part that provides an execution environment for the application part. I was responsible for both the application and the platform. Over the years six releases of the product was shipped. When development of the product peaked I managed a team of 8-10 persons. In addition to development I also drove product definition and spent considerable time formulating and communicating our market message. I was also the principal author and “thinker” when writing business plans for Jaczone’s fund raising purposes. -

Initially I worked some 6 months as a consultant to Ericsson implementing the Objectory technology. After that I took on an assignment as project manager with a customer. The project I managed was structured into 3 subprojects and engaged 40 persons at its peak and I was involved for 18 months. After this I was working with product management at Objectory when I was asked to take on the role as Director of Development for the Objectory product group. During my two years in this role the group grew to more than twice its initial size, which resulted in a team of 20 persons. During my period as Director of Development we shipped 6 major releases. Quality was consistently raised with each release. I was part of the company's management team. During the period Objectory grew into an international company with subsidiaries in US, Germany and the UK.
