I was recruited to the Group management team to help in the strive of changing the company from a production oriented company to a company with focus on market, sales and development with production outsourced to suppliers in low cost regions. During my time the production in Sweden, Australia and Canada has been moved to China and Malaysia. At the same time the delivery precision and working capital has been improved. Yearly savings for the group exceeds USD 3 Million.

Danaher Motion is a part of the US based industrial conglomerate Danaher Corporation, the company is well known for “Operational Excellence” and focus on LEAN and continuous improvements through Danaher Business Systems (DBS), a derivative of Toyotas successful production concept. OEM Systems is a Business Area within Danaher Motion with revenue of around USD 160 Million (2007). My main responsibility as VP Sourcing was to develop sourcing strategies for the Business Area and change the localized supply chain to a global supply chain with focus on China. During my three years within the company 30% of the supply was moved to China, generating savings of USD 11 Million.

Danaher Motion Stockholm is an entity within Danaher Motion/OEM Systems that develops, markets, sales and produces electrical controls and drives for customers within the Robotic and Fork lift industry. Major customers were Toyota and ABB. I was responsible for the local production entity including purchase, logistics and service. The department consisted of 75 employees. One major ingredient in the responsibility was to constantly develop the production processes to fulfil the high QDC (Quality, Delivery, Cost) requirements from the customers. During the year 90% of the production cells was converted to LEAN and Kanban was implemented.

The company develops, markets, sales and produces equipment for the telecom sector. The market is global and the production is mainly in Sweden, China and US. I was responsible for purchasing within one of the product segments. The work contained among other things evaluation of potential new suppliers, contract and price negotiations, supplier selection and development.

The company develops, markets, sales and produces equipment for the telecom sector. The market is global and the production is mainly in Sweden, China and US. My responsibility was to develop the company’s logistic chain from supplier to customer on a global level. During the period I established four customer logistic centres and a new distribution set-up to the different markets worldwide. On the supplier side I implemented different logistical set-ups as VMI and Kanban. I also had an operational responsibility for the internal production logistics at the Swedish factory and was responsible for the local logistic department with 35 employees. The company was in a rapid expansion during year 2000 followed by a period of decline. I have therefore handled both new recruitments and downsizing of personnel.

Sundbyberg

Wireless Solutions AB was a new started business area within the Allgon group. The company developed, marketed, and sold products based on WLAN and BLUETOOTH technologies. Production and distribution was outsourced. I was a member of the business area management group and was responsible for finding suitable partners in production and distribution. I was also responsible for establishing a logistic set-up for the future volumes.

Åkersberga

Allgon AB is the parent company in the Allgon group. In the company some shared services are centralized i.e. the IT-department. I was engaged as an account manager responsible for the IT-department's internal customers within the Allgon group. My task was to increase the IT-department's contribution to the company’s main businesses. I was also project manager for Allgon’s Y2K-project in the IT-area.

Åkersberga

The company develops, markets, sales and produces antennas for mobile communication. The company was divided in two product areas, terminal and vehicle antennas. I was a member of the management group for the vehicle antenna area and responsible for purchase and logistics. A large part of the work was focused on outsourcing of the production and implementing a new supply chain. Agreement and price negotiations as well as international contacts with companies in Taiwan, China, Estonia and Italy were part of the daily work.
