I joined Align Property Partners in their Cumbria office in late 2021, working to deliver a Coroner's Court and Accommodation, and a visitor centre for Cumbria County Council/with Natural England both in the north and south of the county. More recently i have been working on an Outdoor Education Centre in North Yorkshire, which we are currently taking to tender stage for the client.In 2021 I was freelancing for MCM Architecture from my home in Cumbria. From 2017 to 2020 I was an Associate with MCM Architecture, delivering the recently completed refurbishment and extension of the headquarter’s building for Anglo-American DeBeers near Farringdon. Prior to this, I spent 11 years at Bennetts Associates and worked on a variety of projects, including the Royal College of Pathologists , 40 Chancery Lane, 1 Bedford Avenue and Marble Arch House, four award winning new-build office buildings in London, and the award-winning Mint Hotel Tower of London in the City. I have also designed public spaces at City Road Basin in Islington and a number of suburban surface stations for Crossrail in west London. In the past I have also worked on Residential Developments, delivering one of the buildings at Chelsea Riverside (Grosvenor Waterside) for Berkeley Homes. I enjoy the complexity of these sorts of projects and have been a major contributor to the design processes, development, coordination and delivery throughout. I am experienced in all phases of design from planning through to delivery in the hotel, commercial and residential sectors, with a particular eye for structure and services coordination, envelope and interior packages.I am a native German speaker.In my spare time, I enjoy combining my love of geometry, precision and colour with the traditional craft of quilting. I am also a part-time sheep farmer.
