During my entire working career I have been managing different business development projects, especially in the export sales area - in private and in public sector. Responsible for the budgets up to 3M€/y. The fields of business, where I have worked include mainly automotive, logistics, energy and IT business. In connection with this I have visited most of the European countries but also N-America, Middle East, Africa and Asia – to establish the contacts with potential business partners, organizing participation on different Trade Shows, managing different size teams, resellers networks/Trade Offices and facilitating cooperation between different countries Trade Organisations.I started my career in AS Norma, OEM Supplier of seat belts for the automotive companies abroad. Thanks to my efforts, Norma is still a supplier of seat belts for companies like Renault Trucks (+ its daughter companies producing buses), VanHool, Saab/Valmet, etc. A great experience of working in the multinational company was the time I spent in DHL International, where my task was to lead the Estonian Sales and Marketing Team and later managing the whole Expresslogistics Team.During the 6 years I spent in company Ecofleet, who develops, sells and supports GPS tracking and Fleet Management platform Ecofleet, it was my work result that now this platform is in use already in 22 countries, has been localized for different markets needs and Ecofleet has it’s own offices in Scandinavia and in the Baltic countries. Continued working in the company Goswift, who deals with development and sales of virtual Queue Management IT Platform & full solutions for the border crossing points, ports and tourism attractions. It involved a lot of interaction with governmental authorities from different countries.For the past 6 years, I have headed the Export Advisers Team of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, Estonia’s EDO/TPO, managing and developing Estonia’s foreign trade offices on 16 markets, including expanding its operations to five new countries during this time (in America, Asia, Europe and Africa). Cooperation with MoE&MFA and co-creation of Team Estonia, foreign VIP visits organization and hosting of business delegations for Estonian and foreign companies and top government officials, co-organization of 2020 EXPO Dubai, organization of international export conferences (Made in Estonia, GoGlobalAwards 2023, etc), setting up Estonian-United Arab Emirates Business Council In addition to this I was a co-author and editor for export handbook, called “YES to Export”.
