Responsible for all aspects of website operation and new media initiatives. Also responsible for communicating and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders at the law school and parent institution (University of the Pacific), and leading web-related projects on all three of the University's campuses. Recently completed a second redesign and migration of mcgeorge.com. Previously, lead the redesign for dental.pacific.com to add much-needed responsiveness to the site. For a year, through June 2018, acted as interim web manager for the Stockton campus of Pacific while continuing my duties at McGeorge.

My main project is the redesign of the school's website, and a re-do of the existing site's content. However, I've taken over the duties of the departed web manager and seem to be a magnet for technology projects across the campus.

* Managed all online systems and content in concert with corporate offices and multiple internal departments for commercialappeal.com — a website attracting more than 10 million page views a month.* Led a development team that successfully created dozens of projects supporting the editorial and advertising initiatives of The Commercial Appeal.* Implemented back-end systems adjustments and full site re-design, and lead marketing and internal training for launch.* Modified templates to allow for optimal presentation of content.* Revamped blogging system to improve stability, including full redesign and training after switch from WordPress to MovableType.* Oversaw social networking efforts to take full advantage of new readership opportunities with services such as Twitter and Facebook.* Responsible for eight direct reports.

Scripps task force charged with choosing a new content management system for the company's newspapers.

Was the first online editor for the Avalanche-Journal. Did everything I could to get the newsroom to move toward more immediate deadlines and did some bleeding edge stuff, such as covering Texas Tech football games "live" from the press box. Poured in a lot of energy. Learned a lot about managing change.
