I'm a student at the University of Applied Science Flensburg, currently in my 7th semester and planning to graduate in the summer 2018 after a total of 8 semesters. I study Media Informatics to get a broad knowledge of what it means to combine IT with creativity. When I was a kid I fell in love with every game Christmas or a birthday brought and I want to be one of the guys and girls behind those precious packages of entertainment software a kid receives with sparkling eyes.Because of the curriculum Media Informatics in Flensburg offers, I have experienced various departments in the process of developing a game. Those include:- Establishing a Game Design concept- Illustrating concept art and 2D game assets- 2D-animation- Modeling 3D-meshes suitable for usage in games- Setting up materials and textures of said meshes , as well as lighting and cameras in a scene- Rigging and animating said meshes- Programming game logicI believe that this knowledge will be very useful, as in a small team, I can work in multiple positions and in a large team it will help me communicate between departments.Ultimately I want to specialize in Game Design and come up with new and exciting ways to entertain.For examples of my work so far, here's a link to my ArtStation-Profile:https://www.artstation.com/svenfriedrichart
