His former positions were Area Manager Telemedicine and eHealth and R&D Engineer at Karolinska University hospital. Totally he has over 30 years of experience within the area of biomedical engineering incl. 18 years within R&D.EDUCATIONHe has also been a PhD Candidate in Medical Science at Karolinska Institute, Dept. of Clinical Sciences, Intervention and Technology (CLINTEC), within the area of Biomedical Engineering and Telemedicine and eHealth. He has a University Certificate in Control and Maintenance. He has over 200 ECTS credits including subjects as Medical informatics, Philosophy of Science, Scientific Statistics, Project Management, etc. He is also certified as Enterprise Architect and Clinical Engineer.RESEARCHHe has 12 reviewed conference publications and 20 other publications. He has also been supervisor for several Master Thesis Students. He has been main or cowriter to 3 international project that has resulted in over 700 000 Euro in funding to Karolinska. In two of this project he was the main project manager. His work has been written about in 8 articles in national and international press (Sweden Today, Dagens Industri, Dagens Medicin, Forskning och Hälsa, etc.). OTHER RELEVANT EXPIRIENCESven has been elected as External Project Advisor for an EU project with a budget of 14 MEuro. He has good experience of development work towards SS-EN ISO 14155 (clinical trials) and SS-EN ISO 14971 (risk management) regarding eHealth products. Det viktigaste för mig är att öka stödet till anhöriga runt patienterna. Jag är själv anhörig och vet hur mycket engagemang anhöriga lägger ner på sina familjemedlemmar. Sedan vill jag öka kunskaperna och tryggheten för patienter med njursvikt och öka medvetenheten i samhället om dessa frågor. Att påverka leverantörer för att förbättra tekniken med till exempel dialys är också viktigt.

Som närmaste anhörig till cancersjuk person med flertal cancertumörer, metastaser och recidivt så behövdes det både kunskap, metodik, en enorm uthållighet att säkra rätt vård vid rätt tillfälle. En målsättning där teori skall jämföras med praktik och analyseras så optimalt utfall erhålls.
