During my time at Yooba I was responsible for recruiting and building up the development team with resources in Sweden, Philippines, Russia and India. My responsibilities included developing the processes for requirements gathering, prioritization, development, testing and release.

Yooba has a great team where I got the opportunity to learn a lot about Flash, Digital Signage, iOS and user interface. It was a joy working at a company that appreciated the benefits of have great UI. It was a challenge starting at Yooba just about the same time as the global economy plummeted, but it taught me the importance of planning and really taking care of each lead.At Yooba I did a lot of trade shows and really honed my skills in the booth.I had the opportunity to land some great deals for Yooba and I still keep in close contact with the company.

My job was to implement the new look and feel of NowPrint. It included things like writing a style guide for developers and creating a branding mechanism.

I started out as a Mac service engineer and that evolved into building a development department with focus on developing software and solutions for the printing industry.I built my first Web2Print Solution based on asp and MySql that included a custom build VDP engine that used Acrobat Reader in the browser as the UI. A pretty fun project that included lots of pdf manipulation.We built an invoicing system that generated correct invoices based on several hundred unique contracts.I came up with an idea for an DAM that we built, and that included extensive research into different image manipulation api's for .net. We did lot's of customizations to EFI's software DSF. For one customer we customized DSF to enable mixed mode VDP for version 2.3 of DSF.
