As a flock supervisor, I acted as liaison between the company and our contracted growers, developing positive and productive relationships, many of which I still maintain. I was responsible for applying the company's bird health, animal welfare and sanitation programs for twenty-three farms in Sussex and Caroline counties. Some responsibilities included diagnosing and treating health concerns, temperature and lighting adjustments to reach target conditions, general inspection of the property and weekly detailed reports of each farm.

My time with Mountaire Farms began with revamping the parts room for their Millsboro garage. Working closely with the shop foreman, I was able to return non-inventory and obsolete parts saving thousands in overhead, freeing up room on the shelves and in the budget for much needed current items.I was primarily responsible for inventory control, loading and unloading, quotes and procurement. Additionally, I was tasked with submitting all vendor invoices pertaining to a fleet of hundreds and shop related expenses for approval and working with our accounts payable department to ensure vendors received payment.
