Digitalization makes processes and goods movements more traceable, but the meaningfulness and coherence of the stored information usually remains hidden. Therefore, I have made it my business to break up old procedures within a company and carry out a digital transformation in order to generate valuable information from unused data.My vision is to seize this opportunity and enable all employees to participate in the company's success and ensure long-term success.Consequently, it is essential for me to define a company-specific strategy and to live this strategy across departments and companies in order not only to create lifeless ad hoc reports, but also to bring data to life by selecting the right key figures and designing interactive and clear dashboards.I could already prove this by using my theoretical and practice-relevant knowledge of my master thesis to define a completely new role in the transport and forwarding company, which introduces supply chain management across 10 locations and presents it by means of targeted strategy, KPIs and dashboards.I first developed a fully automated performance measurement system using Excel (Power Query) and then database development, data modeling and SQL programming. This system instantly evaluates and classifies data across all locations.The resulting transparency and automation allows me to concentrate on the essentials to optimize the monthly hundreds of thousands of transports according to throughput time, costs and quality.
