About Sven Wesley

I am an IT-guy specialised in application server platforms and data storage technologies.My expertise include Architecture both in-house and cloud based, Dynamic Programming and OOP - specifically in Java design and development. I started working with Java full time 1999, but I made my first computer program 1984. I have been very involved in database design, implementation, and optimizations. Most of my work has been focused on managing large datasets, either for statistical databases, retail, or financial systems. I am experienced in several different RDBMS and NoSQL environments. I have been a core user of Unix and Linux since the beginning of the 90's. Most of my daily work is based on these platforms.I promote openness and collaboration. For me, it’s important to help others improve and gain knowledge of programming and and their technical comprehension. I have supervised students and coached co-workers in both programming and how to practically approach problems. I contribute as much as I can in different online forums and seminars to help others, and to make myself a better developer.Personally, I have a deep technical interest and have been building several CNC machines from scratch. I have a complete workshop for working with carbon fiber constructions and I am meticulous with details when I construct anything.
